O.H. Hoover's diary, 1855-1856.

Diary of eighteen year old school teacher, O.H. Hoover, who taught from Nov. 3 to Dec. 13, 1855 at Crooked Run in Dover Township, Tuscarawas County, Ohio. He also describes visit to the rail road depots, and a half price train ride on Christmas Day from New Philadelphia's depot of the Tuscarawas extension of the C & P [Cleveland and Pittsburgh] Rail Road to Bayard in Columbiana County, Ohio.
